2023 Spring Meeting in Frankfort
The 2023 Spring Meeting of the Democratic Woman's Club of Kentucky was held in Frankfort on March 25! Thanks to the Franklin County Democratic Woman's Club for sponsoring the well attended event. A social gathering on Friday evening, with a nacho bar and cookies, was held at the Hampton Inn. The Saturday meeting was held at the Foundry, in downtown Frankfort. JoAnne Bland, DWCK President, spoke to the club via phone and welcomed everyone. Speakers included Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman, Susanna French, representing the National Federation of Democratic Women, and Anna Whites (attorney). Charlene Greer, who was elected to serve as Co-Chair of the DWCK while JoAnne is ill, presided over the meeting. A business meeting followed a wonderful box lunch.
